Hello Upstate Gardeners,
Many of you are familiar with the Andy Tomolonis quote, “A gardener’s best tool is the knowledge from previous seasons. And, it can be recorded in a $2 notebook.”
Now you can record your own gardener’s knowledge with a free profile on PlantsMap.com and have it with you anywhere you go, on your phone, tablet or computer. In addition, we want to offer you a free custom interactive plant tag to go with your plant profile.
We are ‘Connecting People With Plants’ by hosting pages for plants and plant collections of all types and sizes. We want to connect people who have the same botanical interests and grow a community where people learn from each other.
- Begin your own My Plants Map digital plant library with up to 24 plants and 4 collections.
- Premium tiers with enhanced services can be found on our pricing page.
We invite you to explore our community and create your own profile and showcase what you enjoy growing while building your own online unique notebook of plants. With each plant profile, you can create your story of that plant with your own photos, notes, description, reference links and more. You can keep a journal for each plant and record your notes and photos over time, adding to the unique diary for that plant over time.
Plants Map is a mobile website, so there’s no need to download an app. Simply visit PlantsMap.com from any smartphone, tablet or computer. Now all your gardener’s knowledge is at your fingertips, even while you are out in your landscape.
A feature of PlantsMap.com is the ability to order custom, attractive, affordable, high-quality interactive plant tags that connect both you and your visitors to your plants. These tags go beyond just name identification. Each tag has a unique QR code that allows quick and easy access to all the information you have created for your plant, including your own story and photos. You can use the tag to access or edit your plant’s information quickly and your visitors to your garden can use the tag to see your photos and story about that particular plant.
We would like to send you a free tag. Just follow these steps:
- Complete the “Request a free sample tag” from on this page and tell us where to mail your tag.
- On the next page, you can pick whether you want a sample tag that links to one of our plants or we can make a custom tag for one of your plants on Plants Map, after you create a profile and add a plant.
Plants Map began in 2014. Our website is continually being developed with new features being added weekly. Coming very soon are social features such as being able to follow other profiles, like specific plants, favorite collections as well as the ability to search for local plants and places to visit.
Thank you for visiting and we hope you will grow with us on Plants Map.
