Featured Organization: Florida Tech Botanical Garden in Melbourne, FL

Discover and explore a 20+ acre lush tropical botanical garden within the campus of the Florida Institute of Technology. Learn about the Dent Smith Trail and check out their vast palm collection. Students are currently adding photos and self-guided tours to the profile. Here’s an idea! Why not plan a trip to their Botanical Festival on March 7, 2015 to experience their garden in person!

It’s an opportunity for botanical gardens, garden clubs, tree programs, plant societies, public and community gardens to gain exposure for their projects and programs, increase volunteers and members and reach more supporters. Upcoming Events

Plants Map has been invited to exhibit at the 56th Annual Garden Club of Virginia Conservation Forum “Trees: Virginia’s Remarkable, Renewable Resource” on November 12. It’s now easier to get Plants Map Tags & Signs

We can now import plant lists to start your profile. Visit the Connecting People With Plants page for more information. Plants Map Tags and Signs allow for easy access to update your plant webpages with notes and photos from your smartphone while working in your garden. They also engage visitors to your garden and allow them to see photos and information specific to your plants and profile.

Nick, an avid vegetable gardener himself, will help cultivate relationships with nonprofits, businesses and other organizations and partners to help grow Plants Map.
