- Our profile features writer Emily Freehling has been published in the Botanic Gardens Conservation International ROOTS publication (13.1 June 2016). The topic of the issue was on sharing science. Emily submitted a piece on Plants Map and the Land-grant Programs at the University of the District of Columbia: Building Tomorrow’s Farms: Seeking Solutions for an Increasingly Urban World.
