Connecting People Journal April 2019

One of the things that inspires me, is learning about the educators and caretakers behind the plants and landscapes on Plants Map. This is another way that we see Plants Map as connecting people with plants.

This month we have two new featured profile journals that share their stories of preservation through their trees and landscapes: Trees convey history at Colonial Williamsburg Arboretum and Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project preserves Colorado’s apple diversity.

And we want to wish everyone a very happy Arbor Day! I sincerely hope you will continue to Celebrate Arbor Day Everyday this year.  Thank you to all of the ‘guardians’ who are helping to plant, protect, and preserve landscapes for future generations.
